Additional Resources
The National Parkinson’s Foundation website is an invaluable source for information. The NPF has local chapters which are easy to locate. The National Parkinson Foundation chapters are community organizations, comprised mostly of volunteer leaders, that provide local services, such as health and wellness programs for people with Parkinson’s disease and their families. This is a great way to make that first connection with neurologists and Parkinson’s individuals.
Other websites like Parkinson’s Awareness Association, State and Local foundations, My Parkinson’s.org, and Lifesript.com can provide a list of the local neurologists in your area.
